AMENTUM QATAR offers QAR 15-25 hourly for the Power Production Technician position. In order to better serve the Air Force at Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, Amentum is looking to hire a Power Production Technician.

The Power Production Technician’s primary responsibility is to guarantee the reliable operation of electrical power generation and distribution across a wide range of base facilities and refueling support services by executing corrective operations, maintenance, repair, and other responsibilities as assigned. Diesel generators, gas generators, light vehicles, automatic transfer switches, and prime power generators all fall under this category. All work shall be done in accordance with technical instructions and OEM specifications, and in accordance with all applicable international, US, Air Force, and PWS standards and regulations.

The Power Production Technician will create outage reports for any and all outages, as well as communicate requirements, test results, and outages to the Program’s leadership.
Within 2 hours, the Power Production Technician must be reachable on-site so that he or she can meet with government officials to discuss any issues that have arisen.

Job Responsibilities and Overview:

• Proven track record of exceeding client expectations while upholding contractual obligations.

• Possession of an Associate’s Degree or its Equivalent
• Certification at the level of a journeyman or its military equivalent

Qualification/ About the Applicant

• Three years of experience working on projects or missions similar to those of the United States Air Force is required.
• Electrical and electronic principles, such as power generation, conversion, transformation, distribution, and usage, are required.
• Previous experience working in a multicultural, high-stress OCONUS setting.
• Superior capacity for planning and prioritizing tasks.
• Expertise in Microsoft Office products, particularly Word and Excel.
• Passport and valid US driver’s license or equivalent.
• Confirmed Top Secret Status
• Possess a valid country visa (in accordance with the U.S. Department of State’s Foreign Clearance
• Guide) and meet all of CENTOM’s medical standards for the duration of the deployment.
• Facility credentials and authorization in this workplace require US citizenship.
