Job Responsibilities

  • Welcoming patients and visitors upon their arrival at the medical office.
  • Providing assistance and directions to patients, as well as answering their inquiries.
  • Handling all incoming calls to the office’s general number.
  • Using medical office software to schedule appointments for both new and returning patients.
  • Recording and updating patient information, including registering new patients.
  • Distributing necessary forms and paperwork to patients, and ensuring that all required fields are completed accurately.
  • Maintaining confidentiality of all patient records by legal and ethical standards.

 Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must possess a high school diploma or an equivalent qualification.
  • Completion of a medical assistant certificate program is preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience working as a medical receptionist or administrative assistant in the healthcare industry.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to ensure efficient task completion.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills to effectively communicate with patients and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively as a member of a team.
  • Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States.
