Across metropolitan, regional, and remote Australia, we manage around one hundred medical laboratories and two thousand patient collection centers. From the largest and most complicated commercial and public hospitals in Australia to the smallest and most isolated Australian Aboriginal communities, we provide one in every three pathology services in Australia every year. Job responsibilities and duties:
As a worker, you will have to do and be responsible for the following:
- Carefully collect both blood and non-blood samples.
- Maintain complete and accurate patient and sample records.
- Collect and properly store samples until testing may be performed.
- Exhibit superior skills in listening, speaking, and dealing with customers.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and time-management skills
- an aptitude for and comfort with working alone in a medical setting
- Evidence of vaccine-preventable diseases like Hepatitis B and COVID-19 is necessary for this position.
- It would be an asset to have experience with phlebotomy or a Certificate III in Pathology Collection.
