Job Responsibilities and Overview:
- Visit the store frequently to ensure adequate stock levels and merchandising, and that all operational standards for merchandising are being met.
- Maintain adequate stock levels for sales by preparing and processing all Transfer Journals to shift inventory from one location to another.
- Making the shopping experience more enjoyable for the customer is a surefire way to boost sales.
- Provide customers with clear and simple information about the product and pricing by inspecting and maintaining an accurate price ticketing and shelf-edge label system.
- Maintain open lines of communication with the Retail Manager and Buyers through the
- Merchandising officers, and make sure any problems are addressed as soon as possible.
- Prepare the retail space and any off-site storage areas in advance of any stock counts to guarantee a smooth process and reliable results.
- Help the Merchandising department put together weekly and monthly reports so that they may analyze and improve their performance.
- You will be held accountable for ensuring that all company, legal, and security standards are met.
Qualification/ About the Applicant
- Certificate, Associate’s Degree, or Higher.
- Proficient in their field; at least four years of relevant experience is needed.
- Two years’ worth of experience in retail merchandising.
- Retail, logistics, or shipping/receiving background is preferred.
- Ability to think outside the box
- Competence in both written and spoken expression
