QATAR AIRWAYS offers QAR 20-40 hourly for the Manager Cargo Ramp Services position. Responsible for leading and managing QAS Cargo’s Ramp Services team to achieve agreed-upon standards and financial targets by maximizing operational efficiency and productivity in accordance with all applicable laws, policies, and procedures. Adopt industry standards to maintain company growth and push for operational excellence. In accordance with customer airline standard ground handling agreements and service level agreements, you are responsible for providing all Freighter Handling and Cargo Airside Operations, such as Unit Load Device (ULD) Management, Import/Export ULD steering and storage, Quick Ramp Transfer, and manpower for respective sections.

Job Responsibilities and Overview:
- Improve ramp operations and position QAS Cargo as an industry leader by working with management to identify and implement strategic ramp operational objectives.
- Create goals and priorities for QAS Cargo’s Ramp Services that support ongoing operations.
- Manage present and future ramp service safety and security by planning and implementing operational manpower and equipment resources based on analysis of import and export volumes and trends.
- Implement strategic plans and forge partnerships with relevant parties to boost performance, concentrating on enhancing policies and procedures.
- Implement change management principles and establish processes through collaboration with appropriate internal and external stakeholders to identify gaps and initiate improvements.
- Help the QAS Cargo Management team make data-driven decisions in order to improve ramp services and related processes to industry-leading levels of efficiency.
- Recognize potential threats to operations and create solid measures to prevent further disruption.
Qualification/ About the Applicant
- Maintain operational excellence and regulatory compliance by implementing the ramp services operational plans,
- objectives priorities that are in line with QAS Cargo business KPls and SLAs.
- Maximize output and prediction abilities through the implementation of sound operational methods and management strategies.
- Align business process objectives with financial control, and make sure process outputs are assessed, reviewed, and deployed using a rigorous way.
- Use primary resources to their full potential in order to achieve key performance indicators
- service level agreements set by the Qatar Airways Group.
- To optimize cargo processing flows to satisfy a variety of demands,
- you must question the current quo and push for ongoing operational ramp improvements.
- Assist line manager in developing a realistic
- cost-effective annual plan for personnel and capital expenditures in light of projected needs in the next year..
- Uphold QR Group Safety and Security policies in regard to operational procedures and standards involving Safety, Security, Quality, and Environmental concerns.
- Carry out any additional responsibilities assigned by the Department Head that are relevant to his or her job.
