Working out of our Nambour QLD Delivery Centre, it will be your job as Mail Sorting Officer to manually sort mail in preparation for the next day’s delivery. Job responsibilities and duties:
As a worker, you will have to do and be responsible for the following:
- Sorting mail by hand into rounds based on street and number, either alone or with a team,
- Regularly carrying and lifting big mail bundles and packages
- In order to handle a high throughput of mail, you will need to use manual pallet jacks and stackers.
- You will receive both initial and continuous training from senior team members who are invested in your professional growth.
- You can frequently lift up to 16kgs of Mail and Parcels, have a good recall, pay close attention to detail, and are willing to work beyond hours if necessary.
- Having prior experience with manual pallet jacks or stackers is a plus, but not required.
