CHESHIRE CONSTABULARY offers GBP 15-25 hourly for the Logistics Assistant position. The ideal candidate will be able to store and transport mail, store items, exhibitions, and forensic items for the Force, as well as provide professional logistics and mail service with an emphasis on the satisfaction of customers.

• GBP 15-25 per hour

Job Responsibilities and Overview:

• Maintaining compliance with all standards and legislation and meeting established SLAs when delivering store items, non-stores items, and mail to Force locations across Cheshire Constabulary.
• Confidential mail with the utmost care during the sorting, franking, and delivery process.
• This includes arranging and recording special deliveries and courier services.
• Mail and packages are collected from and delivered to locations far from the main office.
• Maintenance of Force systems, including Niche, for correct audit trails of collected and transferred property in compliance with the Force property policy.
• Retrieval of evidence, as well as updates to force systems (including Locard) for audit ability’s sake.
• The person in this position may be called to testify in court regarding the efficient transport of goods.
