Join our PUD team and be a part of a fast-paced workplace that focuses on creating excellent customer relationships through local freight deliveries and pickups at our Thornton facility. We are looking for somebody to start immediately. Through our fleet of more than 1,000 vehicles and our one-of-a-kind network of linehaul and local contractors, we make daily express deliveries of commodities to all areas of Queensland and New South Wales.
Followmont began in 1984 by delivering magazines out of a small office in Stones Corner, Brisbane. They have since grown to become the preferred Queensland carrier, the State’s largest family-owned transport company, and have over 850 employees, over 1,000 vehicles, 19 company-owned regional depots, and a network of local contractors. In addition, Followmont is the preferred Queensland carrier.

Job responsibilities and duties:

- Performing pick-ups and delivery of parcel freight across the neighborhood of Newcastle.
- Manually loading and unloading the vehicle is considered to be “handling.”
