My Normanton-based client is always on the lookout for nighttime Dispatch Laborers. The client is the largest producer of natural and synthetic work surfaces in the UK.
Although not required, familiarity with Warehousing standards and expertise in a fast-paced and demanding manufacturing setting would be assets. We’re on the lookout for team players that can adapt to new responsibilities and work well under pressure to join our growing team. Interested parties should be aware that this position requires them to use their muscles and strength to do a variety of tasks.

• GBP 10-20 per hour

Job Responsibilities and Overview:

• Transporting completed orders from the Production area to the Despatch area via trollies and A-Frames.
• Follow instructions on Process Planning Sheets to get orders packed and ready to ship.
• Despatch Checklist on the Process Planning Sheet is being used for work preparation and verification.
• Packaging modular items such as Magna, Slab tech, and Timber to specified quality levels
• Customized countertop packing to the highest requirements
• Documentation signing and filling PPS must keep track of every stock transfer.
• Checking for surface damage after a process has been performed
• Maintenance and Six Sigma
