Since 1988, Proper Cornish has been the go-to for genuine Cornish Pasties. Our newly renovated 58,000-square-foot bakery in Bodmin, Cornwall, requires 40 sets of hands every day to crimp 66,000 pasties. All of our pasties are hand-made in the traditional Cornish style and are made properly to taste decent.

As a result of our ambitious growth ambitions, we have openings for a wide range of positions and shifts. In your role as Hygiene Operative, it will be your responsibility to keep our food processing facilities spotless at all times. You will be responsible for various cleaning duties as well as monitoring for and reporting any deviations from predetermined quality management systems and best practice practices. After receiving proper training, you will operate a wide variety of machines and tools while also keeping detailed records to prove compliance with all policies and regulations. You will complete your probation with a Level 2 Food Safety Certificate and a Level 2 Health and Safety Certificate. We also have an extensive program for professional growth and advancement, as well as a proven history of internal promotions.
