Job Responsibilities and Overview:

• every prospect will have these qualities:
• Education in Horticulture or a related discipline is required, but the ability to demonstrate the desired competence via past work experience will be evaluated with 3 to 5 years of expertise in high-end softscape installation and a thorough knowledge and understanding of plants and plant identification.
• Proven expertise in recognizing common weeds and invasive species in Ontario
• Ability to recognize and name a wide variety of trees, shrubs, and perennials
• Able to operate a tractor-trailer combination safely
• Competent in the safe and responsible use of all relevant machinery and tools; holds appropriate certifications or licenses.
• Possessing strong verbal and written communication abilities
• A current and valid driver’s license is required.
• Expertise with the necessary landscaping and building materials, techniques, and hardware
• The eagerness to learn more and get more credentials is what drives continuous learning.
