Open Positions, No Prior Experience Necessary Most seasonal harvest tasks do not require prior experience, therefore we have a place for you on our dynamic harvest teams whether you have experience in agriculture or not. In your role as a Harvest casual, you’ll help GrainFlow run smoothly by coordinating the receipt and storage of grain at 15 facilities in four states.

Job Responsibilities and Overview:

  • Collecting and analyzing grain samples. Extensive education is made available as The quality and safety of grain supplies rely heavily on the work of grain samplers.
  • Growers and vendors should be treated to first-rate customer service.
  • Work with the logistics group to make sure the grain keeps flowing.
  • Get good at data entry so that you can keep track of your samples and their outcomes.
  • Learn how to handle and maintain grain-storage equipment in complete detail.
  • Load and unload grain from trucks and other machinery in a safe manner Maximize output through effective shoveling, sweeping, and handling
  • Help in transferring and mixing grains
  • Help maintain grain quality by taking part in bulk storage activities like tarping and bunker work.

Qualification/ About the Applicant

  • Weighbridge operators and record keepers receive comprehensive training.
  • Meet and help visitors and employees as they leave and enter the building.
  • Maintain a precise grain scale and transactional database.
  • Maintain conformity with all applicable safety and regulatory policies.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism when responding to inquiries from customers.
  • Maintain and operate heavy machinery in a safe manner. This includes things like Front-End
  • Loaders, Telehandlers, and Water Trucks.
  • Assist with the loading and unloading of grain-carrying vehicles and railcars.
  • Help out with cleaning and general upkeep of the site.
  • Help the team as a whole to meet its productivity goals.
  • Always put safety first, and use machinery in accordance with rigorous safety procedures.
