In a rural location, the Food Service Supervisor may be reachable by phone or email, but not present in the office. This may apply to the Food Production Worker. The Food Production Employee will use good judgment and initiative as a professional inside the organization.
The Food Production Employee is responsible for incorporating the NSHA’s guiding principles and practices into the work they do and the information they convey. This includes, but not limited to, the NSHA’s mission, vision, values, expected behaviors, leadership philosophy, organizational health, population health, ethics, safety, quality, partnerships, and inter-professional collaboration.

Qualification/ About the Applicant
- High school graduation or its equivalent
- Experience in the kitchen for at least one year is required.
- Completed a Food Handlers Course with a passing grade within the past five years
- Proven success in collaborating with colleagues, customers, and superiors
- Ability to pick up new skills quickly, take instruction well, and perform well in a team setting while adhering to policies and procedures
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, as well as strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to employ good judgment, initiative, and problem-solving skills in a professional setting
