About this position

  • This position is with a provider of property management services with a focus on large-format retail establishments, businesses, and industrial sites. Your job will be to support and assist the Waikato Area Manager, who is largely responsible for managing the cleaning crew and everyday operations. In this busy customer-facing role, you will be situated in Hamilton or Tauranga, with travel to both areas necessary as determined by the firm to various sites.

Job responsibilities and duties:

As a worker, you will have to do and be responsible for the following:

  • Operational support for desktops and programs should be provided to users. Participate in the solving of operational issues by collaborating with online peers
  • Utilizing the Stantec ticket system, respond to requests in a timely manner and make sure all tickets are properly logged.
  • Manage the Incident and Service Request queues, audit them regularly, and notify the RITC and
  • RITM of trends. These are all examples of queue management operations.
  • Implement, configure, and monitor defined services as part of proactive maintenance and administration.
  • Update workstations with security patches and applications.
  • Work on lifecycle projects with other IT service teams and the procurement team.
  • Make sure that Stantec computer devices are disposed of safely, securely, and effectively.

  • Take part in mentorship and cross-training programs with service delivery teams.
  • Participate in IT initiatives as a resource for operations, carrying out duties as needed.
  • Participate in the creation of documentation and operating procedures.

  • Able to occasionally move between workplaces.
