Job responsibilities and duties:

As a worker, you will have to do and be responsible for the following:

  • Equipment sprays the areas to kill any new growth.
  • Helps load and unload trucks.
  • Introduces waste wood and brush into a wood chipper.
  • Fixes the grass, fences, and sidewalks that got messed up on the job.
  • Repairs to fuel, compressed air, and hand tools.
  • Performs such duties as driving, traffic control, and operating a variety of vehicles and machinery.
  • Maintains a clean and organized work area, including trucks.
  • Keeps workers and bystanders safe from harm in the workplace.
  • Helps customers, law enforcement, and emergency personnel coordinate when vehicles need to block a street or driveway.
  • Putting up safety measures like barriers, warning signs, flags, markers, etc.
  • Capable of saving people from trees and buckets.
  • Helps with the induction of fresh staff.
  • Takes charge of making sure the vehicle, tools, and other machinery are in good operating order.
