Job Responsibilities and Overview:

• Following established cleaning procedures to keep the school clean and safe for students, staff, and visitors.
• Picking up trash, emptying trash cans, and cleaning them
• Managing the procurement, distribution, and upkeep of a building’s sanitary facilities, including but not limited to its toilets, sinks, and cleaning supplies.
• When cleaning carpets, you can use any of the following techniques, and the corresponding equipment: – Injection and extraction methods that use hot water instead of powder or liquid shampoo
• Maintaining a clean environment by following established procedures and timetables, and
• committing to the safe use of cleaning agents and chemicals.
• In addition, the Grounds Supervisor and Facilities Manager may ask you to perform other tasks in a similar vein.

Qualification/ About the Applicant

• Capacity to express oneself clearly, accurately, and professionally as required by the position
• Capacity to organize and prioritize work in order to fulfill several deadlines
• Positive, proactive, and full of energy and enthusiasm
• Certification in Workplace Safety and Health Current Working with Children Permit
• Competence in using commercial and industrial cleaning equipment Competence in meeting the role’s physical requirements
• Familiarity with the SDSs for any chemicals used and how to safely store them.
