Cellar Operator job in Australia, Are you looking for a position as a Cellar Operator job in Australia? TREASURY WINE ESTATE offers AUD 20-30 hourly for the Cellar Operator position. At our cutting-edge winery in the scenic Barossa Valley, we’re looking to fill up to 15 permanent Cellar Operator positions. These positions are accountable to the Cellar Area Leaders and are tasked with ensuring that all winemaking processes in the cellar are carried out in a safe, efficient, and effective manner.

• AUD 20-30 per hour

Job Responsibilities and Overview:

• Promote and preserve conformity with all applicable quality standards and statutory mandates
• Report any issues with food quality or safety as soon as possible to ensure ongoing compliance with the food safety and quality management system.
• All cellar work conduct in a manner that preserves product quality.
• Coordinate efforts between the winery’s cellar and the winemakers to guarantee timely, high-quality output.
• To carry out, cultivate, and improve cellar procedures in order to maximize the efficiency of tools, systems, and personnel.
• Insist on complete and accurate recording of cellar activities that accurately reflects what was done.
• Ability to prioritize work and communicate effectively
• Security-focused mentality
• Ability to analyze logically and solve problems effectively
• Physically fit (a medical exam is part of the hiring process) to carry out the duties of a cellar operator.
