Job Responsibilities and Overview:
- Responsible for the motivation, discipline, direction, and supervision of all restaurant staff.
- Create and uphold training programmes to make sure all employees are competent and professional.
- Take charge of the restaurant’s day-to-day activities.
- Respond to customer concerns and restore service as soon as possible.
- Verify that all F&B policies and procedures are being followed to the letter.
- Get everyone on staff up to speed on the product.
- Food and drink should be checked for quality on a regular basis.
- Adhere to accepted and correct methods of accounting
- Maintain performance logs by having monthly one-on-one meetings with employees to discuss goals and progress.
- Keep your staff looking sharp with daily role plays and inspections of their personal appearance.
- Establish routine upkeep schedules
- Coordinate inventory and damage prevention measures with stewarding.
- Keep a daily logbook with accurate and succinct details on the company’s activities.
- Create a database of frequent visitors’ preferences.
- Maintaining the Hotel’s Service Levels while Staying Within Labour Cost Budgets
- Assign work to subordinates and keep an eye on their progress.
- Establish regular cleaning programs for machinery once a week.
- Coordinate weekly inspections of departmental spaces with the Hygiene Manager, Housekeeping, and Engineering Teams to ensure order and cleanliness.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of the restaurant’s supplies.
- Keep a close eye on the personnel to ensure they are always acting professionally.
Qualification/ About the Applicant
- Proficient in all facets of restaurant work Fluent in written and spoken English
- Maintain a neat and tidy appearance at all times.
- Highly effective trainer and leader with a knack for inspiring others
- Effective communication and meticulous attention to detail
- Expertise in human resource management, business sense, drive, and energy of the highest order
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks, establish realistic deadlines, and complete assignments on time.
