Salary for Assistant Operator job:

• CAD 15-25 per hour

Job Responsibilities and Overview:

• Performing facility upkeep duties as ordered by the plant operator.
• Products undergo Quality Assurance testing.
• Sharing information on plant operations with both arriving and departing crews.
• Communicating quality, safety, maintenance, and production concerns to the plant operator.
• Keeping all lines of communication open, including written records, oral exchanges, and production logs.
• To keep things running smoothly, “everything has a place and everything in its place” should be the motto at your workplace.
• To fill in as needed as either a Plant Operator or a Loader Operator.
• Front-end loaders must be operated in a risk-free and productive manner.
• Any other responsibilities that may arise.

Qualification/ About the Applicant

• Support for a risk-free environment in the workplace.
• Driven by personal initiative; capable of handling tasks with minimal oversight while also taking the lead when necessary.
• Knowledge of how to use machinery used in the production process.
• Skill in and knowledge of mechanical systems.
• Flexibility in scheduling shifts
• Capacity to collaborate well with others.
• Knowledge of how to use a front-end loader effectively and safely is a plus.
